The Goose Tree System was left in the field all season long.  I had a constant ‘birds-eye’ view from the second story of the club house.  On more than one occasion hunters came and reported to me that 3 geese were landing in the decoys, right now!  I gave them binoculars to check it (GTS) out. My first test, in determining if the Goose Tree System would flare geese on final, was to put the GTS in the black spot landing area where we traditionally kill most of our geese. The geese finished with no problem, in fact, we had some of our closest shots this season.   Several times I tested the Goose Tree System alongside of other flying decoys.  What impressed me the most was the way the GTS handled the wind in excess of 25 mph.  The other decoys struggled while the GTS continued to attract geese in 30-35 mph winds.  Actually, the more wind, the better it looked.   The individual flyers are life-size with 48” wing spans.  And the fiberglass connecting rods give natural motion to the GTS flyers. While no decoy is magical (we’ve all seen geese fly past a field full of live geese) the Goose Tree System is engineered to weather-vane or face the wind which keeps the landing direction straight.  So there is less time out of the blind re-arranging decoys and more time in the blind hunting.   After considerable testing I am happy to report that the Goose Tree System works.  It’s durable.   It transports and sets up easily. To make a long story short, every flight that came in set up on the Goose Tree, totally committed, it was unbelievable. My buddy’s set was totally ignored. Needless to say, I had a great afternoon... a full two man limit and a new convert to the Goose Tree. Packing several dozen Decoys is a thing of the past for me. After the shoot I had my spread down and packed in less than ten minutes. We spent nearly an hour packing the full bodies (in the dark). It's not often I get this enthusiastic about any product but your Goose Tree is an awesome addition to any Goose decoy spread.   Day 2  . . . moved the Goose Tree to either side of the spread. Invariably, the birds lined up on the Tree. This set-up, with the Blinds positioned a bit upwind of the Tree seemed to work best for us today.  The geese locked on to the tree and came in like trained pigs...again. The Goose Tree System was left in the field all season long.  I had a constant ‘birds-eye’ view from the second story of the club house.  On more than one occasion hunters came and reported to me that 3 geese were landing in the decoys, right now!  I gave them binoculars to check it (GTS) out.
