Real Geese Silhouette Magnum - Lite 3D Canada Goose Decoys

he Canada silhouette decoys that started it all. These decoys have stood withstood “test of time” to become a virtual legend in goose fields across North America. We start with detail enhanced artwork that is more dramatic than nature itself, combined with the highest quality materials and the most advanced production methods to produce a decoy that offers consistent performance and exceptional durability.

Each dozen has 12 separate/distinctive poses with the correct blend of active/feeders and uprights. We use wood stakes that is stronger than steel by weight and offers a higher resistance to cold weather than plastic. These are custom painted so that they blend into the decoy, but also look like legs that avoid the look of your decoys “floating” in a field.

Their size is approximately 15% larger than a 12 pound Honker and the weigh only 9 pounds per dozen.

The Goose Tree System was left in the field all season long.  I had a constant ‘birds-eye’ view from the second story of the club house.  On more than one occasion hunters came and reported to me that 3 geese were landing in the decoys, right now!  I gave them binoculars to check it (GTS) out. My first test, in determining if the Goose Tree System would flare geese on final, was to put the GTS in the black spot landing area where we traditionally kill most of our geese. The geese finished with no problem, in fact, we had some of our closest shots this season.   Several times I tested the Goose Tree System alongside of other flying decoys.  What impressed me the most was the way the GTS handled the wind in excess of 25 mph.  The other decoys struggled while the GTS continued to attract geese in 30-35 mph winds.  Actually, the more wind, the better it looked.   The individual flyers are life-size with 48” wing spans.  And the fiberglass connecting rods give natural motion to the GTS flyers. While no decoy is magical (we’ve all seen geese fly past a field full of live geese) the Goose Tree System is engineered to weather-vane or face the wind which keeps the landing direction straight.  So there is less time out of the blind re-arranging decoys and more time in the blind hunting.   After considerable testing I am happy to report that the Goose Tree System works.  It’s durable.   It transports and sets up easily. That's a laugh . . . folks should realize that you do get what you pay for and it’s an American -made product to boot!   I have hunted over the years with every brand of flier, the shapeable WINGS on your honkers are what sets your decoys completely apart and ahead of the others . . . like I said before my friend--you aced it!  All you left out was the GTs ability to double-cluck and moan, HA!  You have combined practicality and portability with a couple grains of \"keep it simple stupid.\"  It’s easy to set up a GT when hunters get to their spot at o'dark-thirty, no loose pieces and no need to carry it already assembled--nice work!      Just had an amazing weekend and I feel the GT was a big part of it . . . 30 honkers down. The GT actually helped pull birds from incredible distances and with the wings in cupped positions the wind motion has really sealed the deal. Our shoot yesterday proved, without a doubt, that your system works. It not only works...it works extremely well!  We located several thousand Canadas in a disked barley field the day before.  We set up for an afternoon shoot. Winds were high (25 mph gusting to near 40 mph). My partner for the day was quite skeptical of the Goose Tree, suggesting it was too \"cluttered\" and would flare any birds that came near it. So we set two separate spreads about 60 yards apart. He agreed to the good natured challenge. His spread consisted of 40 full bodied dekes. I set up the Goose Tree and eight Magnums 60 yards upwind and twenty yards over from his set. (I can tell you that the tree was \"active\" in that wind but, it handled it very well). To make a long story short, every flight that came in set up on the Goose Tree, totally committed, it was unbelievable. My buddy’s set was totally ignored. Needless to say, I had a great afternoon... a full two man limit and a new convert to the Goose Tree. Packing several dozen Decoys is a thing of the past for me. After the shoot I had my spread down and packed in less than ten minutes. We spent nearly an hour packing the full bodies (in the dark). It's not often I get this enthusiastic about any product but your Goose Tree is an awesome addition to any Goose decoy spread.   Day 2  . . . moved the Goose Tree to either side of the spread. Invariably, the birds lined up on the Tree. This set-up, with the Blinds positioned a bit upwind of the Tree seemed to work best for us today.  The geese locked on to the tree and came in like trained pigs...again. The Goose Tree System was left in the field all season long.  I had a constant ‘birds-eye’ view from the second story of the club house.  On more than one occasion hunters came and reported to me that 3 geese were landing in the decoys, right now!  I gave them binoculars to check it (GTS) out. My first test, in determining if the Goose Tree System would flare geese on final, was to put the GTS in the black spot landing area where we traditionally kill most of our geese.
